We all have a select few celebrity couples that we can’t help but ship… HARD. Of course, this just makes it all the more difficult when the couple eventually decides to go its separate ways, which, let’s be real… happens most of the time. But, even though their love didn’t last forever, it doesn’t mean they aren’t still some of our fave celebrity couples to ever happen.
Think about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, for example, who released a heartbreaking statement back in August announcing that they have decided to split after being married for eight years. Fans thought for sure that this couple was in it for the long haul, but with their demanding schedules and the inevitable fact that people sometimes do grow apart, they realized that even though they still have so much love for each other, they can’t make it work.
Of course, that was just one of several celebrity couples to have split within the past year. Others included Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, and many, many more. And although these breakups happened fairly recently, some of our other favorite couples have already been broken up for five years — that’s half a decade!
