2008 was an absolutely incredible year for music, and now that it’s been 10 years since some of the most iconic songs of our time first dropped, there’s no better time than now to look back at which artists gave us the most legendary bops.
It’s almost hard to believe, but in 2008, Taylor Swift was still just a little country bumpkin dropping her second album, Katy Perry hadn’t even been famous for a full year yet and Danity Kane and The Pussycat Dolls were pretty much dominating the radio airwaves. We know what you’re thinking: a ton has changed in the span of 10 years… but that’s all the more reason to pay homage to some of the 2008 classics, right?
We’re not going to lie to you, while some of these songs will definitely feel way older than they actually are, others will seem like they came out just yesterday. Regardless of what it seems like, though, these songs are all turning 10 in 2018, and we can hardly believe it! Check it out:
