We’re not gonna lie, we’re totally excited to see Rihanna in her first big movie, Battleship, this weekend! She’ll finally join the ranks of other singers-turned-actors, a long list which includes Jennifer Lopez, who stars in another one of this weekend’s films, What to Expect When You’re Expecting. So for our Playlist of the Week, we’ve got a handful of songs from our absolute fave double-threat celebs!

1. Rihanna, “S.O.S”
Seeing as how “S.O.S” stands for “Save Our Ship” we figure this is a pretty appropriate song to celebrate the premiere of her first movie, “Battleship”.

2. Jennifer Lopez, “Plan On Forever”
What to Expect isn’t JLo’s first time on the big screen… we totally loved her in The Wedding Planner. And this song from its soundtrack is basically a staple on our iPods.

3. Christina Aguilera, “Show Me How You Burlesque”
Well, Christina did a bit more singing than acting in Burlesque, but we’ll let that slide since she did such an awesome job on the big screen.

4. Mandy Moore, “Only Hope”
It’s been 10 years since A Walk to Remember came out, but we’re still obsessed with this song. And this scene. And this movie. You get the point.

5. Britney Spears, “I Love Rock n’ Roll”
We still remember rocking out to this jam back when we heard it on the soundtrack to Brit’s movie Crossroads in 2002. And yes, guys. That movie counts as acting…

6. Chris Brown, “Gotta Be Your Man”
So Chris didn’t get a song on the soundtrack for his film Think Like a Man, but this song totally should have been on there.

7. Eminem, “Lose Yourself”
Sure, Eminem played a rough version of himself in 8 Mile, but he did an amazing job at it… and this song from the film even won an Academy Award. Why are not at all surprised by that?

8. Jonas Brothers, “Heart & Soul”
The JoBros totally rocked the movie screen in the Camp Rock movies as hard as they rock the stage! This song from Camp Rock 2 is definitely one of our faves.

9. Justin Timberlake, “SexyBack”
JT’s roles in Social Network, Friends With Benefits and In Time proved that Justin totally knows how to bring sexy back to the big screen (he’s actually a really good actor, too!). So this song makes total sense!

10. Jennifer Hudson, “And I Am Telling You (I’m Not Going)”
Jennifer only made it into the Top 7 of American Idol, but she showed audiences just how much they underrated her by winning a ton of awards for her performance in Dreamgirls. This vocal performance still makes our jaws drop.

Who do you think is the best singer-turned actor? Who did we leave out?
