M-I-C… see ya real soon! K-E-Y… Why? Because we love you. M-O-U-S-E! No, we didn’t make that up. Yes, that’s the theme song of Disney‘s best show ever: The Micky Mouse Club… which is officially making its way back to television real soon!
Just to give you some background info, some little names you might recognize: Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and even Ryan Gosling — they are just a few of the mega stars who got their starts in Hollywood back in the day on the show performing on stage together and taking part in small sketches. Disney officially debuted the new Club Mickey Mouse on Friday, and this exciting reboot features some of Hollywood’s most promising young stars as the newest Mouseketeers.
With the show’s return, we’re about to meet the next generation of Hollywood elite (or, at least, that’s our humble opinion), led by Taylor Swift‘s bestie and music video collaborator, Todrick Hall, who will be the celebrity mentor to the slew of new young talent, which consists of YouTubers and social media stars, includes Regan Aliyah, Jenna Alvarez, Gabe De Guzman, Leanne Tessa Langston, Will Simmons, Sean Oliu, Ky Baldwin and Brianna Mazzola.
And can talk about how super cute they look in their MMC jackets?!
The show will feature tons of musical performances, along with some awesome comedy sketches. So just think of it as a more musical, PG-version of Saturday Night Live. But aside from the high-energy musical performances that make up the digital program, fans will also get a bunch of behind-the-scenes access through the cast members’ social media platforms as they film the new reboot.
Oh, and the best part ever: did we mention that this show is going to live on digital — as in, you can watch it on Oh My Disney‘s Facebook page and Instagram, which means means you can whenever and wherever… starting TODAY!
The show is set to run for seven weeks, so get excited because we know we are.
