Despite her split with Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus probably still feels on top of the world when it comes to her music. Because, according to the trailer for her upcoming MTV special, she “was born to become who I am right now.”
In the 1:30+ promo, the 20-year-old “We Can’t Stop” singer is documented before, during and after her must-talked-about MTV VMA performance. “I have this freedom to do whatever I want because I’m starting as a new artist now,” she tells the network. (So we guess her “inappropriate” actions were of no consequence to her.)
She even jokes about the whole affair with “SMS (Bangerz)” collaborator (and fellow VMA controversy-starter) Britney Spears, saying: “Everyone takes the VMAs so serious, and I just wanna come out and shoot a hot dog gun. I just wanna have fun!”
Miley closes, “You’re always gonna make people talk. You might as well make them talk for two weeks rather than two seconds.”
Miley: The Movement premieres on October 10 at 10p ET on MTV. Will you be tuning in? Do you think MiCy’s collab with Britney will be kick-ass or a dud? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below, or on our Miley Cyrus message board!
