Halsey identifies as bisexual, and in one particular interview she called out straight female artists for depicting bisexuality as "taboo." And that was all fine... until she called out the former Disney actress directly by referencing some lyrics from her hit song "Cool For The Summer," which is about experimenting with women, as being problematic.
Halsey said, "Oh, yeah. Bisexuality as a taboo: 'Don’t tell your mom,' or 'We shouldn't do this' or 'This feels so wrong but it's so right.'"
Demi fired back a few days later by tweeting, "You know a song is a hit when people are still talking about the lyrics two years later. #shhhhdonttellyourmother." The drama!
Katy Perry

In the same interview in which she slammed Miss Lovato, Halsey also took aim at Katy Perry. The "Now or Never" crooner specifically referenced the lyrics, "This feels so wrong, but it's so right," which are featured in KP's "I Kissed a Girl."
NGL, this wasn't the only time Katy's come under fire for her first-ever hit single, so she's probably used to it. Still, it's no fun getting called out by a fellow pop star.Yikes.
Arzaylea
Halsey and Luke Hemmings' ex-girlfriend have had beef in the past, but it seemed that it died fairly quickly. Recently, however, the social media star attended Emo Nite in LA and the event posted a picture that showed her DJing in a pink wig. The photo was deleted, however, after the singer commented, "This is embarrassing."
The shade came just days after Arz was allegedly caught cheating on the 5SOS guy with Blackbear, and the singer has been friends with the Aussies for, like, ever, so we kindasorta see where she was coming from in her aggression.

Hailey def shaded Halsey first in this case. The model was Snapchatting when "New Americana" came on. She clearly wasn't a fan, because she quickly asked, "Can you change the station? Please."
Halsey didn't waste time posting a Snap of herself imitating HB in an extremely exaggerated valley girl voice. Guess that'll teach you not to mess with the 22-year-old's tunes!

This rapper has been accused of making homophobic remarks in the past, which is definitely not cool. And Halsey, as a bisexual artist, felt the need to voice her opinion on the matter. Her comment suggested that Quavo is not smart enough to be politically correct. Then, after he even went so far as to apologize for his mistakes, she called his apology "bullsh*t."
What's even weirder is that the 22-year-old actually featured the musician on her latest album, which is something she never would've done if she knew of his past.
She tweeted, "Honestly? I didn't know that Quavo had made homophobic comments when I collaborated him. We've never spoken a word to each other and I have no intention of pursuing a friendship there, unless he wants to make a legitimate apology."

Soon after, Iggy responded to Halsey's comments in a radio interview, saying, "I thought it was a bit of a strange thing to throw that out there, but she's young and I hope she learns maybe to be a bit less judgmental when she's kind of in the same shoes."
